Former Ambassador, Khalid Salim on Saturday urged the need for an active role of Organisation of Islamic Conference (OIC) for convincing the civilised world to address the root causes of violence in various parts of world.
Speaking in a PTV programme he said, it was unfortunate that Muslims were facing problems, as they were being projected as extremists and terrorists. He said the OIC being the representative body of the Muslims world can play an effective role to project their cause.
