The Executive District Officer Revenue, Hyderabad, Abdul Sattar Jatto has advised landlords/khatedars of the district to get their passbooks of Agricultural Bank prepared from the office of Taluka Mukhtairkar concerned, so that they could avail the facility of agricultural loans.
He said that district government, semi-government and private organisations following the policies of government have started their loaning programmes to the khatedars enabling them to upgrade their lands and to purchase agricultural inputs for getting better yield from their crops.
He said that availability of passbook has been made compulsory for availing loaning facility as such all the revenue staff of the district have been directed to issue passbooks to the khatedars on priority basis with simple procedure.
He said that only passbooks stamped and issued by post office with two passport-size photograph and copy of computerised National Identity Cards (CNIC) are required for issuance of passbook to the interested khatedars.
