Opposition parties stage protest against Israeli aggression

The joint opposition parties staged a protest demonstration against Israeli aggression on Lebanon and Palestine, at Lohari Gate here on Sunday. The protesters took out a rally from Lohari Masjid and culminated at Data Darbar.
They were carrying banners and chanting slogans against Israel and US and were calling for an immediate end to "Israeli aggression" and demanded of the world community to take effective measures to stop Israel from killing innocent people in Lebanon and Palestine.
Speaking on the occasion, Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal (MMA) Punjab president, Liaqat Baloch, said that the silence of the government against the Israeli aggression on Lebanon was meaningful and nation should understand that rulers were acting upon the agenda of Americans.
The inhuman activities of Israel, which is the illegitimate child of America and British, would not be tolerated, he added.
Khawaja Saad Rafiq, leader of the PML-N said that the anti-Islam forces were working against the Muslims throughout the world and he stressed the need of unity of Muslim Ummah against anti-Muslim forces so that they would be able to defeat the enemies.
Tehrik-e-Insaf Punjab president Jawaid, central leader of the Pakistan People Party and MNA Atizaz Ashen, Azizur Rehman Chan, MNA Pervez Malik also spoke against the Israeli aggression.
Different political, religious, social, and human rights activists also staged protest demonstration in the various parts of the metropolis against Israeli aggression.
