Mushahid optimistic about resolving dispute with MQM

Pakistan Muslim League Secretary General Mushahid Hussain Syed has expressed optimism that the conflict with MQM would be resolved amicably. "The problem was identified. Objections were also raised.
Talks were held to find out the solution to the problem. As a result of these talks it was decided to call a meeting. And all these problems would be discussed openly at the meeting and their solutions would be found out," Mushahid told the BBC.
He said that MQM have also raised some objections and have also protested, which they have conveyed to the government.
"With reference to this we have been in contact with their leadership both inside the country and London. As a result it has been decided to resolve this issue through negotiations," the PML leader insisted.
He said problems of various natures arise in politics in political system and in governments. "That nature may be administrative and in that nature may also be political".
"Some times the importance of problem becomes so complicated and some times, the issue is not so significant. There are various natures of issues and problems".
He said politics problems do arise on occasions in Pakistan, which are of different nature. "Our government too is confronted with challenges. Difference of opinion is the bases of democracy".
He said that objective of everybody is to bring the political stability in Pakistan and to strengthen the democratic system and to resolve the problems facing the masses. "If there are any hurdles in it, they ought to be removed and if there are difficulties they ought to be resolved. This is what we are doing".
