Israeli aggression

Saudi Arabia in a meeting with Egyptian President warned that if the peace option failed because of Israeli arrogance, there would be no option but war, which might be quite dangerous for everybody.
It is unfortunate that the recent visit of US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice could not prove fruitful and disappointed the leaders of the Islamic countries.
Over the last two weeks continuous aggression of Israeli troops in the Lebanon resulted in heavy casualties not only of innocent civilians but also many foreign observers have been killed. In the process, Lebanon has been ravaged, with hundreds killed, nearly half a million driven from their homes and vast damage to roads and bridges.
Israel and the United States say their ultimate aim is to fundamentally reshape Lebanon to end Hezbollah's presence by the border, strengthen democracy in the country and ensure lasting peace with Israel.
The United Nations, Muslim Ummah and all the Arab countries are requested to explore possibilities for quick cease-fire between Israel and Hezbollah - because many countries, including Pakistan, apprehend that if the Israel and Hezbollah conflict does not end, this issue may engulf the other countries in the region as well.
