'Musharraf's advisers sabotaging settlement'

Convenor of Muttahida Qaumi Movement Dr Imran Farooq has said that President Musharraf should know that people sitting on his right and left are trying to sabotage the negotiated settlement of the problems between MQM and the Sindh chief minister.
Speaking to a private TV channel he said, "We cannot be intimidated from the threats of Governor's rule imposition in Sindh". The MQM Rabita Committee, he said, called back its negotiating team from Islamabad after the Pakistan Muslim League-Q leaders passed irresponsible statements against the MQM.
"I want to call upon the PML-Q leaders and Chaudhrys not to make Sindh as a political orphanage. We are still supporting the President but now we have to see as to how we are treated that is why we have not yet makeup our mind that we would keep sitting on the treasury benches."
He recalled that they had told Nawaz Sharif and Benazir Bhutto when they were their coalition partners that efforts were being made to isolate them and now "We have conveyed the same message to President Musharraf.
