Marri tribesmen surrender

A group of 38 Marri tribesmen had laid down their weapons and announced support for the government. According to reports, 38 Marri tribesmen under the leadership of Wadera Juma Khan Marri surrendered to the authorities in Kot Mandai, some 50 km from Sibi.
They announced their support for the government and not to take part in any anti-government activity. Those laid down their weapons also handed over large quantity of arms and ammunition to the authorities. These included rocket launchers, rockets, rifles and bullets in thousands.
