Karachi-upcountry rail link to be restored today

Federal Railways Minister Shaikh Rashid Ahmed on Thursday said rail link between Karachi and rest of the country will be restored tomorrow (Friday) after construction of an alternate bridge at Ran Pathani, some 78-kilometres away from Karachi.
Talking to newsmen in Karachi, Shaikh Rashid Ahmed said Pakistan army, Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC), Sindh police and local people along with railway engineers and workers worked day and night to restore rail link between Karachi and rest of the country.
