Expulsion of US and UK envoys demanded

Speakers at a meeting on Friday demanded of the government expulsion of the US and British ambassadors from Pakistan for their countries' backing Zionist aggression in Lebanon and decided to take out a protest rally of the labour organisations on August 12 in Karachi.
The meeting of all the representatives of labour organisations, with the Labour Party Pakistan leader Sheikh Saeed in the chair, was held here.
The speakers strongly condemned US imperialism and Israel's barbarism against Muslim countries. They said hundreds of the innocent civilians had been assassinated in Israeli air, navel and land strikes in Lebanon besides they were targeting airports, seaports, bridges, communication system and water and electric plants there.
"Hundreds of the people were compelled to migrate to safe places through jungles and mountain routs because Israel was targeting central roads", they said.
They said this barbaric war erupted when, the US, British and Israel denied national mandate of Palestinian nation to the Hamas in recent polls there.
The labour organisations unanimously announced to take out a protest really of labour class from Empress market to Karachi Press Club on August 12. They also formed a three-member organising committee headed by Shehla Rizwan.
The labour organisations representatives including Zaman Awan of National Trader Union Federation Pakistan, Sher Baz of Progressive Youth Front, Noor Bacha of Karachi Shipyard Union, Rahim Awan of KWSB, Sohail Raza of Pakistan Textile Workers Union, Abdul Shakoor of Power Looms General Workers Union, Ghulam Shabir of Koh-e-Noor Chemical Labour Union, Minhaj Usmani of National Youth League, Nadim Haider of PTCL Staff Lines Union, Nasir Siddiqui of Pakistan Steel Progressive Workers Union were present.
