Sindh Home Minster Rauf Siddiqui on Friday directed Inspector General Police to make arrangements for joint training of US and Pakistani security officials, deputed at US consulate in Karachi, for improving the security of consulate.
He issued such direction while meeting with US Consul General, Marry H. Witt, who called on him at his office. Rauf Siddiqui informed US Consul General that Sindh government had made foolproof security arrangements for protection of foreigner residences and worship places. He told government was also taking all-possible steps to eliminate terrorism and crimes from the province. Marry H. Witt expressed satisfaction over security arrangements for foreign buildings and their worship places and also lauded performance of law enforcement agencies.
