Cheques given to Mustahiqeen

Shah Faisal Town Nazim Muhammad Imran inaugurated distribution of cheques among 'Mustahiqeen' (deserving people) under the Bait-ul-Maal Food Support Programme at Shah Faisal Town Central Office on Friday.
Addressing the people present, he said that the purpose of distribution of cheques was to help the needy and to make an effort to support them in establishing small business of their own.
He said that those who could not get assistance on the occasion would get on the next distribution programme. He asked them to submit applications for assistance.
The Nazim said that 'Haq Parast' were committed to serve the people and would continue doing so "under the guidance of Quaid-e-Tehreek Altaf Hussein".
He said that Haq Parast from Karachi to Kashmir were engaged in public service and would continue to contribute their efforts in the wellbeing of Pakistan.
Imran said that under the direction of Altaf Hussein the local Haq Parast leadership had begun to serve the country. They are determined to make Pakistan a strong and progressing country, he added. "We would work hard to eradicate poverty, hunger and provide comfort to all. In fact, the era of progress has already begun."
Naib Nazim Ali Akber, Town Municipal Officer Barkat Ahmed Rizvi, District In Charge Pakistan Bait-ul-Maal Dr Tahir Iqbal, District Officer Bait-ul-Maal Pakistan Waseem Akhtar, Union Council nazims Muhammad Asghar, Abdul Jalil, Mirza Afaq Baig, town councillors Nusrat Parveen and Munawwar Sultana were also present.
