Sialkot all set to celebrate Independence Day

The Independence Day will be celebrated with usual enthusiasm and fervour in all the four tehsil headquarters of Sialkot district on August 14. The preparation for celebrating the Independence Day was gaining momentum in Sialkot, Daska and Pasrur tehsils of Sialkot district.
Several social and cultural organisations as well as educational institutions are busy finalising programme in accordance with the significance of the day. The sale of national flags, posters of national heroes, badges and colourful buntings has started in every nook and corner of Sialkot. Besides, the purchase of national flags and colourful buntings is in full swing.
In Sialkot, the national flags have been hoisted on top of large number of houses and shops, wagons, buses, motorcycles and rickshaws. In addition, minorities, living in the district, are evenly taking active part in Independence Day celebrations. On this occasion, all shopping commercial centres and bazaars are being decorated with colourful buntings and national flags. Meanwhile, Sialkot Tehsil Municipal Administration is also finalising its programmes pertaining to the Independence Day, which includes the national flag hosting ceremony on top of Jinnah Hall.
