A new transformer of 31.5/40MVA will be installed at Old Thermal grid station. Briefing to newsmen, Public Relation Officer of Faisalabad Electric Supply Corporation (Fesco), Tahir Mehmood Sheikh said electricity from Sant Singh Road, Tariqabad, Factory Area, SPS, DHQ, Farooqabad, Abdullah Pur, Nishat Mill, Fatehabad and Pepsi feeders emanating the grid station would remain suspended for 24 hours from 5am on Monday to 5 am on Tuesday.
Similarly, Rafhan, United, Gulistan Colony, Jubilee, New Medina Town and Susan Road feeders would observe shutdown for four hours from 5am to 9am on Monday. However, instructions had been issued to supply electricity to the affected areas with intermittent intervals.
