Gram prices rise on grain market

Grams prices were higher on the grain market on Saturday as supplies from the upcountry were tight as a result of the recent rains, dealers said. On the grams side, gram garda Punjab gained Rs 75 to Rs 3250-3350. Gram dal Punjab was higher by Rs 250 to Rs 3900-4000.
Beetle Chana No 1 gained Rs 100 to Rs 3350-3400. Beetle 50x50 was up by Rs 125 to Rs 3250-3350. Dal beetle picked up Rs 150 to Rs 3900-4000 they said.
Bajra, low type shed Rs 15 to Rs 935 while better variety did not show change at Rs 1250, they said.
On the rice sector, Irri-6 Sindh shed at Rs 10 to Rs 1350, other types maintained the overnight levels, they said.
On the seed side, cottonseed oilcake with bag rose by Rs five to Rs 710-715, they added.
