The Sindh University will celebrate the 59th Independence Day in a befitting manner on August 14. According to a notification issued by Registrar Dr Saeed Ahmed Soomro on Saturday, the University has chalked out different programs to be held on the occasion.
The flag hoisting and National Anthem Ceremonies will be held at Allama I.I. Kazi Campus Jamshoro and Elsa Kazi Campus Hyderabad at.8.00 am sharp. The Deans of the Faculties, heads of teaching institutes and departments, sectional heads of administration, employees and students would attend the celebrations.
The Vice Chancellor of the University Mazharul Haq Siddiqui will be Chief Guest at flag hoisting ceremony to be held at Hyder Bux Jatoi pavilion Jamshoro.
University buses shall play on the usual routs at 7.00 am from Latifabad, Kotri, via Elsa Kazi Campus Hyderabad and Goods Naka.
