MCCI secretary dies

Multan Chamber of Commerce & Industry (MCCI) Secretary, Ghulam Ali Bhatti died of cardiac arrest on Saturday evening. He was 95. A large number of industrialists, traders, exporters and elite of the area attended his funeral prayers on Sunday.
He was in Pakistan Army till 1971 and after his retirement he joined the Chamber and served as MCCI secretary for 35 years. He left widow, five sons and a daughter and large number of well-wishers grieved behind.
MCCI President Khawaja Muhammad Abdullah, former presidents Mian Mughis A Shaikh, Mian Fareed Mughis, Mian Anis Ahmed Shaikh, Mian Maqbool Ahmed Shaikh, Khawaja Muhammad Yousaf, Syed Muhammad Qasim Shah and others have expressed their grief and sorrow over the death of Ghulam Ali Bhatti and paid him rich tributes for his services he rendered for the cause of exports and industrialisation.
