AJK cabinet sworn in

A 16-member newly formed cabinet was sworn in at the Kashmir House in Islamabad on Monday. The out going AJK President Major General Sardar Muhammad Anwar Khan (Retd) administered the oath. Besides Ministers, three advisor and special Assistant to AJK PM with the status of ministers have also been inducted in the cabinet.
According to the notification issued by the AJK News Services and General Administration Department (cabinet), Malik Muhammad Nawaz has been appointed as the Senior Minister in the Sardar Attique cabinet with port folio of Electricity Department, other ministers and their portfolios are Chaudhry Muhammad Yousaf Industries, labour and Mangla dam affairs, Raja Muhammad Naseer Khan Local Government and Rural Development, Raja Nisar Ahmed Khan Finance, Planning and development, Abdul Rashid Abbasi Law and Parliamentary Affairs, Hafiz Hamid Raza Zakat Usher, Aouqaf and Transport, Muhammad Sana Ullah Qadri Rehabilitation, Civil Defence and Armed Forces, Sardar Muhammad Naeem Khan Revenue, Custodian, Abandoned properties, Dr Muhammad Najeeb Naqi Health, Syed Ghulam Murtaza Gilani Forest, AKLASC and AKMIDC, Shamim Malik Social Welfare and Women Development, Colonel Raja Muhammad Nasim (Retd) Public Works Department and Development Authorities, Reconstruction and Rehabilitation of quake hit areas. Mirza Muhammad Shafique Jaral Agriculture, Animal Husbandry, Livestock and Fisheries, Chaudhry Muhammad Akbar Ibrahim Tourism, Wildlife and Environment, Sardar Abdul Qayyum Niazi Food, Co-operative and Prisons, Ali Shan Chaudhry Youth Affairs and Sports.
The oath taking ceremony was attended besides the other AJK Prime Minister Sardar Attique Ahmed Khan, Speaker Shah Ghulam Qadir, Deputy Speaker Sardar Farooq Ahmed Tahir, Chief Secretary Kashif Murtaza, MLAs, and others.
