Federal Minister for Law, Justice and Human Rights Chaudhry Muhammad Wasi Zafar said the state land would be provided to deserving people to build their own houses as implementation of development programme had been geared up to disseminate the fruits of economic uplift to the down trodden.
The minister said this while inaugurating a number of development schemes on Jaranwala-Faisalabad road on Monday. The minister distributed allotment letters under Chief Minister's three-marla scheme among 300 deserving people in Chak No 61-RB Maharan Wala. Congratulating the people, he said that the Punjab government had decided to allot state land to provide houses to the shelter-less families.
Wasi also inaugurated free short courses at the Government Poly Technical Institute for Women Jaranwala. He said that Punjab government had decided to impart practical training and vocational skills to our youth so that they could earn respectable livelihood.
He said the Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority (Tevta) has started short courses especially for the girls. The deserving girls would also get a scholarship of Rs 500 during this course. The minister also inaugurated electricity supply schemes in Chak No 105 and 107-GB.
