A meeting of the Organising Committee for arranging Independence Day Celebration on 14th August, was held here on Monday under the Chairmanship of Registrar of the Committee, Professor, Dr Muhammed Aslam Uqaili.
During the meeting the program for arrangement was discussed and it was decided that The 59th Independence Day celebrations will be held at the Mehran University Public School, Mehran University of Engineering and Technology, Jamshoro with full zeal, enthusiasm and national spirit.
He informed all the members of the Sub-Committees that a meeting regarding discussing arrangements for the celebration of National Day in his office was held on Friday.
The Registrar informed the various programmes were being chalked out. The Programmes will be started with the recitation from Holy Quran after that the Flag hoisting and national anthem ceremony will be held at 8.am sharp.
All the Deans, Directors, Heads of the department teaching institutes and departments sectional heads of administration, employees and students would attend the celebration.
The Vice-Chancellor, Qadeer Khan Rajput, will be the Chief Gust at Flag hoisting ceremony, Passing out parade of Security guards of the University and Police would also be held on the occasion. Vice-Chancellor would also address the Faculty members, Chairmen, Director, Officers and other Employees of the University.
The meeting was attended by the Director Finance, Engr. Muneer A Shaikh, Associate Professor Department of Mining Engineering, Perwaiz Shakeel, Director, Sports/Security Officer, Najeeb -ur- Rehman Channa, Executive Engineer, Ghulam Shabir Momnai, Principal, Mehran University Public School, Professor Shabir Ahmed Memon, Students Welfare Officer, Attaur Rehman Memon, Plantation Officer, Abdul Aziz Abro, Public Relations officer, Mushtaque Ahmed Baloch and Transport officer, Captain Abdul Razzak Qureshi (Retd).
