Emirates SkyCargo created a buzz in the local air freight industry when it carried a 14.5 tonne on its Boeing 747-F freighter. The assignment ran into problems and the unit could not be accommodated. Emirates SkyCargo was called to handle the assignment and an immediate plan at short notice was put together by Nihal Wickrema, Charter Manager.
A Boeing 747F was dispatched to Karachi and the assignment was completed within a tight schedule.-PR
