Sindh Inspector General of Police (IGP) Jehangir Mirza has directed the Capital City Police Officer to make fool-proof security arrangements regarding the ITCN Asia - 2006 to be held at Karcahi Expo Centre from August 9.
He was reviewing the security plan formulated regarding the exhibition, said a press release issued here on Tuesday. According to the security plan, special control rooms and emergency centres have been set up at Jinnah Terminal, Karsaz, Expo Centre, DJ Science College ground. These centres would remain in continuous link with the control rooms of CCPO, DIG (Operations) and with the TPOs concerned.
The bomb disposal personnel would also remain present along with the policemen and officers at police pickets set up at Jinnah Terminal, Karsaz, Hasan Square and PIDC.-PR
