Samsung Electronics Pakistan in exclusive collaboration with Playdium.Net has sponsored World Cyber Games (WCG) for the second time for Professional E-sports Gaming in Pakistan.
Sang Suk Roh, Country Manager of Samsung Pakistan, stated at a Press Conference, "We are very proud to be a part of WCG 2006 as we were last year. We believe that young people all over Pakistan should have more opportunities to exercise their talent. WCG is one such arena, in which Samsung aims both segments of youngsters will participate in actively."
National Championships will begin in August and the best of the best players from Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad for the games of 'Counter-Strike 1.6' and 'Need for Speed Underground' will battle it out. The champions will be selected for Grand Finals in Italy, in October 2006.-PR
