The Saudi government has imposed a ban on issuance of Umrah Visa to the persons below the age of 40. It is an unjustified and unfair impediment since every Muslim, regardless of his age, has an ambition to perform Haj or Umrah. It is a fundamental right of Muslims all over the world.
It would not be an exaggeration to say that such restrictions or impediments create great anxiety among the people.
The Ministry of Religious Affairs, as well as Saudi Government, are requested to lift the condition of age factor on the issuance of Umrah Visa.
