A very large number of people on Wednesday visited the site of the collapsed water tank in Phase V of the Defence Housing Authority, which came down yesterday with a huge bang after three of its pillars cracked and broke, reports UPP.
The site was visited by the top officials of the Defence Housing Authority and Brigadier Maqsood, the DHA Administrator ordered a survey of all the existing overhead water tanks in the DHA as also of several of the flats apartments on Sunday.
Meanwhile, the clearing of accumulated garbage and other threw away materials in different parts of the city of Karachi was being carried out by the sanitation staff of the different towns and the main office of the CDGK.
The sunshine in the day helped in drying up many of the plots where there was some rain water standing.
