Former Foreign Secretary Riaz Khokhar has expressed hope that deadlock between Islamabad and New Delhi over the ongoing peace efforts would be temporary one. In an Interview on Wednesday, he was confident that the dialogue would resume at some stage.
I believe that relationship between the two countries has matured in the last couple of years and there is at least a feeling on both the sides that the dialogue process should not halt although it has been postponed. He however said that a 'cooling off period' is also essential for some days, as back channels are already working.
