US MIDDAY: coffee edges up

US benchmark arabica coffee futures edged up to finish at a three-month high Wednesday, extending the week's gain amid speculative buying in line with surging robusta values in London, market sources said.
The New York Board of Trade's arabica coffee contract for September delivery rose 0.55 cent to settle at $1.0765 a lb, the loftiest since May 10, after trading from $1.0730 to $1.0920. December arabica climbed 0.50 cent to $1.1155 a lb and back months advanced 0.40 to 0.90 cent.
