The National Database and Registration Authority (Nadra) administration has approved a proposal to fix one day in a week for women to issue computerised National Identity cards.
The scheme would begin from August 18 on Friday, official sources said here on Friday that at present women were facing difficulties in getting computerised NI cards and hence the Nadra management has approved a proposal to fix one day in a week for women so that they could easily get computerised NI cards.
Friday would be the day for women and no male card seeker would be entertained on that day. The sources said that 300 forms were received daily for issuance of computerised cards and women would be greatly facilitated if a day was fixed in a week for them.
