NWFP selection board promotes 100 officers

The provincial selection board of NWFP on Friday recommended the move-over of more than 100 officers of different departments to next higher posts. The meeting of the board was held under the chairmanship of Chief Secretary Ejaz Ahmad Qureshi. The meting was attended by the senior member board of revenue NWFP, secretary establishment and secretaries of the department concerned.
In agriculture department, the provincial selection board recommended the regular promotion of one BPS-19 officer to the post of director general, agriculture extension NWFP (BPS-20).
In higher education department, the PSB recommended the regular promotion of 10 and acting charge appointment of three male associate professor (BPS-19) to the post of professor (BPS-20) while the regular promotion of 51 female assistant professor (BPS-18) to the posts of associate professor (BPS-19) and the regular promotion of one lecturer (BPS-17) to the post of assistant professor (BPS-18) was also recommended in the higher education department.
In environment department, the PSB recommended the regular promotion of 12 assistant conservator of forests (BPS-17) to the rank of deputy conservator of forest (BPS-18).
Likewise in schools and literacy department the PSB recommended the regular promotion of one officer (men's section) from BPS-19 to BPS-20. Likewise in schools and literacy department the PSB recommended the regular promotion of 35 officers (men's section) from BPS-18 to BPS-19 and acting charge appointment of 61 officers (men's section) from BPS-18 to BPS-19.
