Minister takes notice of gang rape

Sindh Home Minister Rauf Siddiqui on Friday taking notice of a news published in a section of press about kidnapping and gang-rape by 14 persons of a girl, daughter of one Abdul Rahman Solangi, in the limits of Chakah police station, Ubauro, directed DPO Ghotki to investigate the incident and send him a detailed report.
He directed DPO to register a case against accused persons and provide security to the girl and her family. Rauf Siddiqui also took notice of a news regarding detention and torture of a 15-year boy Khuda Bux in a theft case by Civil Lines police station Larkana and sought the details of the incident. He directed DPO Larkana to inform him about the measures taken in this regard and submit a detailed report.
Meanwhile Home Minister appreciated SHO Preedy police station Irfan Zaman; ASI Nadeem Haider and police party who recovered kidnapped women Shamim Ara W/o Saeed Mir from a building of T Goes Line Street, Saddar without ransom. He said that it was a great achievement of police. He said that kidnapping for ransom was an ugly crime. He said that the accused involved in kidnapping do not deserve any relaxation. The woman was found chained in an old deserted building known as Al-Quresh.
