Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has assured the Lahore City Cricket Association (LCCA) that payment of letters share in gate money will be made to it at the earliest. This was revealed by LCCA President Amir Hayat Khan Rokhari while talking to newsmen here on Friday.
Amir maintained that PCB had not given even a single to the LCCA as its share from gate money since 2001. He stated that he had made a formal request to the PCB for clearance of due amount from gate money so that the LCCA could take steps for promotion of game of cricket. He said that PCB authorities had assured to release the amount to the LCCA.
Rokhari further said that the LCCA is going to computerise its record so that necessary data could be readily available. The LCCA would also initiate programmes for the promotion of cricket. He said that the LCCA would also host matches for Delhi and Amritsar cricket teams.
