Punjab Agri Marketing Minister Rana Qasim Noon has disclosed that a modern fruit and vegetable market will be developed in Multan over 200 acres of land.
Talking to a delegation of traders of fruit and vegetable market here on Wednesday, the minister said that the decision was taken in view of great rush at general bus stand, Chowk Kumharanwala, and growing population of the city. The minister said that the government had started collection of Kanda fee in all fruit, vegetable and grain markets in the Punjab with a view to improving these markets.
