The Lahore High Court (LHC) has issued notice to respondents for August 23 in a petition filed by Khalid Siraj against Allied Bank Limited with prayer to the court to restrain the respondent bank from selling out the machinery of Ittefaq Textile Mills.
The petitioner contended that various petitions are pending before the august court pertaining to disposal of units of Ittefaq group of industries but the respondent Allied bank is going to sell out the machinery illegally and without lawful authority. He therefore, prayed to the court to restrain the respondent from putting into auction the machinery of the Ittefaq Textile Mills. The court after hearing the petitioner's counsel at length issued notices to the respondent for August 23 and rose for the day.
