Rains and thunderstorm forecast

The Meteorological Department has forecasted a cloudy weather with chances of rains and thunderstorm in next 24 hours in the metropolis.
According to the Met office official, due to clouds depression rose from Bay of Bengal, was still on parts of India and will advance toward Pakistan in next 24 to 48 hours, which is expected to bring about the torrential rains by tomorrow evening and Sunday morning in the city.
Maximum temperature on Friday was recorded 35.2 centigrade and minimum temperature 25. 2 centigrade, while 62 percent humidity was in the air.
Rainfall during last 24 hours was recorded at different areas of the city as followed: 56mm at Karachi Airport, 67mm at Shahra-e-Faisal, 63mm at Masroor Air Base, 36.4 at Model Observatory, 50.4mm in North Karachi and 45mm at Geography Department on University Road.
