Enumerators will complete the process of distribution and collection of forms for enrolment of voters for preparation of new voter lists by September 11, 2006 said Secretary, Election Commission, Kanwar Muhammad Dilshad here on Sunday.
Talking to APP Kanwar Dilshad said that after the completion of forms distribution and collection process, assistant registration officers would accomplish their assigned task by October 6.
It may be mentioned here that door to door enumeration of households had been completed by July 28 and the process of forms distribution started on July 29.
Kanwar Dilshad said that after completion of the whole process, final electoral rolls would be published on May 30, 2007.
The Election Commission secretary said a team of 144 registration officers, 2,237 assistant registration officers, 28,992 supervisors and 86,740 enumerators had been trained for enumeration process. Around 500 judges of local courts would be appointed at district level to hear complaints and objections, he added.
