Several families belonging to Dera Bugti urged the President and the Prime Minister on Saturday to provide them protection against, the repression being committed by tribal Sardars in their area.
The members of these prior and families are presently on hunger strike in front of the Parliament to protest against the tyranny of close associates of Akbar Bugti.
They told journalists that the companions of Akbar Bugti were punishing poor, innocent and helpless people for no fault of theirs at all. They had not spared even women and small children. The widows and orphan were their common victims.
They said the government should ensure their safety and this could be only done by at resting the Sardars who were responsible for the mischief.
They should be punished for their crimes. Their actions were in violation of all human rights should not go unchecked.
The hunger strikers said they were patriotic citizens of Pakistan. Hence, it was their right to be given protection.
They should be given a chance to live peacefully in their ancestral homes. The cruel and callous Sardars had pushed them out of their homes and for this they should be given stern punishment.
The people whose only fault was that they did not support these Sardars in their mischievous acts had to bear the brunt of their atrocities.
They had burnt the houses of these who dared oppose them. These Sardars possessed sophisticated weapons and they had used it against harmless and unarmed people.
Their cruelty knew no bound and they were exhibiting in open defiance of law of the land.
The hunger strikers told journalists, they had fled their homes to escape barbarism of these Sardars.
They said the Sardars had murdered 22 members of their families. Among the deceased were thirteen men, five women and four children. What else could they do under the circumstances but to flee their houses. They had lived there for generations. But now they were compelled to seek safety in distant parts of the country.
The people who are staying a hunger strike in front of the Parliament also include women and children.
The names of women are Namoi Bibi, Dilnuz, Bego, Bhimbor Bibi and Mirzadi. The names of children on hunger strike are Sohrab, Wattoo and Talib. The names of men on hunger strike are Muhammad Siddiq Qalandrani, Hasu, Nawazoo, Kalkhanoo and Haider.
The hunger strikers said Mir Ali Bagh Chakrani, Amir Jan Bugti and Shahnawaz Bugti were among the main Waderas to throw them out of their homes and push them into wilderness. They should be arrested and severely punished for their misdeeds.
