Concern voiced over bid to kidnap businessman son

LCCI officer-bearers have expressed deep concern over an attempt to kidnap son of renowned businessman and demanded of Punjab Governor Lieutenant General Khalid Maqbool (Retd), Chief Minister Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi and IG Police to take immediate steps for making early arrest of the outlaws who are roaming freely.
According to a LCCI's spokesman here on Monday, LCCI President Mian Shafqat Ali, Senior Vice President Abdul Basit and Vice President Aftab Ahmad Vohra said that an attempt was made to kidnap the son of Munawar Hussain Malik when he was on his way back to his home from his academy. They demanded immediate steps for making early arrest of the culprits and providing protection to the family of Munawar Hussain Malik.
