Sindh University Vice Chancellor, Mazharul Haque Siddiqui has constituted a two-member enquiry committee to ascertain the causes of fire incident, which took place in the Institute of Mathematics and Computer Sciences (IMCS) on August 20, 2006.
According to a notification issued by the University on Monday, the committee, which comprises Project Director, Development works-I of Engineering wing, Ishrat Hussain and Electrical Engineer of National Center of Excellence in Analytical Chemistry, Mairaj Ahmed Noorani, would conduct enquiry and submit report to the vice chancellor within three days.
