Sardar Anwar calls on Musharraf

Outgoing President of Azad Jammu & Kashmir (AJK) Sardar Muhammad Anwar Khan paid a farewell call on President General Pervez Musharraf here on Monday. The AJK president lauded the role of President General Pervez Musharraf in highlighting the Kashmir issue at various regional and international fora.
He also appreciated the role of the federal government in providing timely relief, as well as reconstruction and rehabilitation of earthquake-hit areas of Azad Jammu & Kashmir.
President Musharraf commended the services of the out going president Anwar Khan during his term in office for the socio-economic development of the people of AJK, particularly during the critical period of the terrible earthquake of October last, that struck Muzaffarabad and other parts of AJK.
