Bulls snatched the floor from the bears at the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) where fresh buying spree in trend-setters moved the entire ready-board in upward direction amid increase in index. ISE Ten index showed an improvement of 12.74 points, as the index moved from 2,657.66 to 2,670.40 points.
The overall turnover amounted to 154,300 shares as compared to previous volume of 185,100 shares. The horizon of trade contacted from 123 companies to 114 stocks. Gainers and losers had a close fight at a ratio of 59:54 respectively, whereas one company remained pegged to its overnight levels.
The volume of OGDCL was 116,600 shares as compared to previous turnover of 35,900 shares. The volume of Pakistan Petroleum was 19,900 shares as compared to previous turnover of 32,000 shares. The volume of Pakistan Oilfields was 8,500 shares.
