Wasim Raja's death condoled

Chairman Senate, Mohammedmian Soomro on Thursday expressed his deep grief and sorrow over the sad demise of Wasim Hassan Raja, Pakistan's all round cricketer, who died of heart attack in London yesterday.
In his message of condolence, the Senate Chairman lauded the contribution made by Wasim Hassan Raja for bringing laurels to the country in the field of cricket not only as an all round cricketer but also as a reference for the international cricket council.
Soomro prayed to Almighty Allah to shower His blessings on the departed soul and grant solace to the members of the bereaved family and the cricket lovers the world over to bear the loss with equanimity.
Deputy Chairman Senate, Jan Muhammad Khan Jamali and Leader of the House in the Senate, Wasim Sajjad, in their separate messages, have also condoled the passing away of renowned cricketer and termed his death as a great loss. They prayed to Allah Almighty to bless the departed soul and grant fortitude to the bereaved to bear this loss.
