Model of biggest Holy Quran on display

A three-day exhibition of a model of world's biggest Holy Quran weighing 9,000-kg consisting 202 pages has been started here at the Sialkot Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) here on Wednesday.
After completion of the Holy Quran it will be presented to the government of Saudi Arabia on behalf of the people of Pakistan for placing it in Masjid Nabawi (Madina Munawwara) revealed world record holder Engr. Haji Javed Iqbal of Gujranwala.
The biggest Holy Quran would have digital automatic system and remote control system and equipped with the facility of listening and reading. The voice pitch of this automatic Holy Quran would be audible from one foot to 1,000 feet, he claimed, saying its each page weighing 70-kg and it would be compiled on stainless steel with engraving.
Engr. Javed Iqbal said the work on the preparation of the biggest Holy Quran was initiated during past two and half years and currently the work on its completion is in full swing and seeks the financial co-operation of philanthropists for the early completion of the project.
