Wheat futures at the Chicago Board of Trade were higher early on Friday on a technical rally and in anticipation of Friday's expiration of September options, traders said. At 10:14 am CDT (1514 GMT), CBOT wheat was up 3 to 7-3/4 cents per bushel, with September up 7 at $3.82-1/2 per bushel.
Funds were the main buyers with Calyon Financial, FIMAT USA and Man Financial noted buyers of the December contract.
