Raw sugar futures were called to open 0.10 cent a lb. lower on Friday, based on orders lined up with brokers and on lower prices in London's white sugar market, exchange floor sources said.
On Thursday, the New York Board of Trade's raw sugar contract for October delivery settled down 0.11 cent at 12.30 cents a lb., after trading from 12.26 to 12.68 - the loftiest price since August 16.
