Aspects of Pakistan movement highlighted

Sir Syed Ahmed Khan's vision and thrust for modern knowledge should be the order of the day, as this is the only key for rapid and sustainable economic and social development of Pakistan, said renowned leader of Pakistan Movement and Federal Minister Mahmood Ali.
In his presidential address in a seminar, entitled, "Sprit of Tehrik-e-Pakistan", organised by Sir Syed Memorial Society here on Saturday. He highlighted the various aspects of the Pakistan movement, which was fuelled by the Sir Syed Ahmed Khan's vision and struggle to attract the Muslims of the sub-continent toward the modern and scientific knowledge.
Other speakers who spoke in the seminar include Professor Fateh Muhammad Malik, Colonel Ghulam Sarwar Khan, (Retd) Dr Alia Imam, Naeem Akram Qurashi and Mian Tanveer Qadri.
The speakers and the audience appreciated the efforts of the Sir Syed Memorial Society endeavouring to spread of literacy and character building of the youth. Brigadier Iqbal M. Shafi President of Sir Syed Memorial Society thanked the speakers and guests at the closing ceremony of the seminar.
