Mobilink, Pakistan's leader in cellular services and part of the Orascom Telecom group, on Saturday inaugurated advanced Network Operations Centre in Lahore to monitor nation-wide cell sites and raise efficiency levels to address network and customer issues.
The advanced data technical facility was inaugurated by Zouhair A. Kahliq, President & CEO, Mobilink in the company of Marwan Hayek, Chief Technical Officer, Irfan Akram, Vice President Sales, Tariq Durrani, Regional Sales Director, Mustafa Paracha, Head of Customer Services, and staff of the centre.
Speaking to the staff of the Network Operations Centre in Lahore, Zouhair Khaliq said, "As we move ahead with our rapid expansion projects to support the growing network of services, this technical facility will enable us to provide even more efficient services to our customers. This is part of a continuous programme to take our service standards to the next level."
Marvan Hayek, Chief Technical Officer while explaining the features of the world-class Networks Operation Centre, said, "The centre will be able to monitor the operations of cell sites of the entire network throughout the country and is extremely scalable in order to cope with current and future demands. This is a natural upgradation towards addressing network and customer issues efficiently and this facility will further improve our services to the satisfaction of our valued customers."
