Hynix sees NAND price fall

Hynix Semiconductor Inc expects a fall in the price of NAND flash memory chips to slow sharply in the third quarter and its DRAM chip price to rise at a faster pace, an executive told Reuters on August 22.
"NAND prices have shown a steady but slower decline. We expect about a 20 percent decline (in the third quarter)," James Kim, head of investor relations at the world's second-biggest memory chip maker, said by telephone.
