Sindh nationalist parties support MMA strike call

Sindh Qaumi Ittehad, an alliance of nationalist parties, has decided to observe Black Day across the province on August 31, to condemn the killing of Baloch leader Nawab Akbar Bugti by the security forces in Kohlu.
The Principle Committee of SQI, which met here on Monday, decided to stage demonstrations in all the towns of the province. The SQI workers would wear black armbands and hoist black flags.
Chairman, Sindh National Front, Sardar Mumtaz Ali Khan Bhutto, who also heads the SQI, had convened the emergent meeting of the alliance at his Karachi residence.
The SQI also decided to take part in protest announced by the four-party alliance of Balochistan.
Further, the SQI would hold a big public meeting at Shikarpur on September 12, as a part of its struggle for the rights of Sindh and also to condemn the killing of Nawab Akbar Bugti. It also supported the strike call given by MMA for September 01, and asked its workers to fully participate in the strike in the province.
Bashir Khan Qureshi of Jeay Sindh Qaumi Mahaz, Syed Zain Shah, Abdul Khaliq Junejo, Dr Hameed Memon, Ibrahim Joyo, Gul Muhammad Jakhrani, Ali Hassan Chandio attended the meeting.
