BRIndex30 gains 219.75 points

The BRIndex30 opened with a positive jump gap of 129.42 on Wednesday, and remained in the green throughout the trading time, opening at 10,384.19 and closing at 10,474.52, with a positive change of 219.75 or percentage change of 2.14.
It showed intra-day high of 10,595.56 and low of 10,324.05. The volume of BRIndex30 was 190,877,700, which was 85.69 percent of KSE All Share and 93.04 percent of KSE-100.
The turnover of KSE All Share was 222,757,000, and that of KSE-100 205,158,000, respectively. BR Tech & Comm Index closed at 1,314.00 with an upward movement of 12.05, or 0.93 percent. The volume of this sector was 19,282,600. BR Cement Index was the third most active sector with a turnover of 32,961,400. It saw a rise of 39.59, or 2.45 percent, closing at 1,654.27.
BR Commercial Banks Index was the most active sector. It closed at 3,578.36 with a net positive change of 72.05, or percentage change of 2.05. The turnover for this sector was 62,847,000. BR Power Generation and Distribution Index closed at 1,026.04 with a rise of 22.03, or 2.19 percent. The turnover for this sector was 5,317,000, which was again the lowest among BRIndices.
BR Oil and Gas Index was the second most active sector with a turnover of 57,823,700. It closed at 2,038.80 with a net positive change of 30.65, or percentage change of 1.53.
