Federal Secretary for Labour and Manpower Malik Asif Hayat has said Pakistan has constituted a Decent Work Task Force to implement the Pakistan Decent Work Country Programme (DWCP) in the country.
This was stated by the Secretary Labour and Manpower in Pusan Republic of Korea on Thursday where he had arrived to attend the 14th Asian Regional meeting for promoting Decent Employment through Skill-Development in Asia and Pacific.
In a message received from Korea, the President of Korea, Prime Minister of Sri Lanka and Sultan of Jordan attended the inaugural ceremony. Secretary Labour and Manpower Malik Asif Hayat was elected as Vice Chairman of the meeting.
While addressing the meeting, Malik Asif Hayat said that Pakistan Decent Work country programme was signed and adopted by tripartite constituent after extensive national consultation last year.
