Dr Abdur Rehman Abbasi, father-in-law of Irshad Nabi Abbasi, joint secretary, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, died on Thursday at Aga Khan Hospital, Karachi, after a protracted illness. His Namaz-e-Jinaza will be offered at his native village, Sobho Dero, district Khairpur Mirs, on Friday after Asr prayers.
Information and Broadcasting Minister Muhammad Ali Durrani, Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Tariq Azeem, Shahid Rafi, secretary, Ministry of Information, Fazalur Rehman Malik, managing director, Associated Press of Pakistan, Rashid Ahmed, director general (Internal Publicity), and other colleagues of the Ministry have expressed their condolences over the demise of Dr Abdur Rehman Abbasi.
They prayed Almighty Allah to rest the departed soul in eternal peace and grant patience to the members of the bereaved family to bear this loss with fortitude.
